Your Arrival

Compass Room
For the complete wow factor
Our largest ceremony space holds up to 150 guests. Glass walls give unrivalled views of MediaCityUK and Salford Quays. For a more intimate ceremony, choose to shut the blackout blinds and get married with the twinkle of our fairy lights and the romantic glow of candles in the background.

Hexagon Room
For an intimate celebration
Our Hexagon Room has romantic views of the surrounding Salford Quays. This tranquil room can seat up to 100 guests.
Access to the room is via a vibrant internal bridged walkway, a perfect place for your guests to meet before the ceremony and mingle afterwards.

Pier Eight Room
For a chic & stylish ceremony
Hold your ceremony in our Pier Eight room and you have an effortlessly elegant ceremony space.
With seating for up to 120 guests, the contemporary grey décor and waterside views provide a sophisticated feel to the room.

Your Reception
Leave everything to us! Our Compass room really gives the wow factor to every single one of our weddings. The neutral décor means that it fits to any theme and colour scheme. Floor to ceiling windows give unrivalled views of the surrounding area and floods the room with light, setting the perfect atmosphere for your grand arrival as a married couple.

If you would like a smaller celebration then we also have the perfect spaces for you. Our Hexagon and Pier Eight spaces are tranquil and romantic spaces in which to celebrate your special day with your closest loved ones.
Your Evening
After a truly unforgettable wedding day it’s time to carry on the party. Let your hair down, head to the dance floor and celebrate in style with your loved ones.
Once your evening guests have arrived it’s time to cut the cake, take to the floor as newlyweds for your first dance and party until late.
As the sun goes down, the lights of MediaCityUK switch on and provide a stunning backdrop through our glass walls. A private wraparound balcony allows for you and your guests to take in the views.
Food & Drink
As it’s your special day you should have the complete freedom to choose what you would like for your wedding breakfast. Our wedding menus are designed for complete flexibility and we offer an extensive range of dishes to suit every taste and style.
All our catering is produced in-house and our dedicated team use fresh and locally sourced ingredients in every dish. If you’re after something a little bit different or a dish that is not on the menu, let us know and we will try our best to make it happen!

Photography Inspiration
Whilst your guests get to soak in the atmosphere of the venue, you’ll be able to get some truly stunning photographs both inside and outside of the building. Take advantage of the interior architecture and get some really artistic shots. Outside only moments away, you’ll find waterside avenues lined with trees and iconic buildings such as the BBC and ITV.

Your drinks reception
Sip a glass of fizz & mix and mingle with your special guests. Whether you choose to get married in our venue or elsewhere, you will always be secured a private drinks reception in one of our dedicated areas. Our wedding co-ordinator will show you all these spaces during your show round of the venue.
Experienced Staff
Throughout the day our experienced event manager will be on hand to act as your toast master, guiding your guests through the building and announcing you into the room. We pride ourselves on our service to our guests.
Location & Travel
Only two miles away from Manchester City Centre, The Lowry is accessible by all forms of transport. The nearby Metrolink station connects us to Manchester’s mainline railway stations and we are located just half a mile away from the M602. A secure multi story car park is located only a few minutes’ walk away & we are able to offer discounted parking rates for your guests.
Hotels
As a theatre, we do not have any accommodation on site, but we have an excellent selection of nearby hotels ranging from budget to four star. Whatever your accommodation requirements are, you’ll be sure to find it. Talk to us about the preferential rates we are able to offer.
