Can I return tickets that I have purchased online?

What security exists to protect my credit & debit card details?

When you act to buy a product online from The Lowry, you will select your products to purchase and then click the ‘Buy with Security’ button. Once you have clicked this button you are taken onto our secure server. When you enter our secure server, a small yellow padlock appears on your bottom tool bar on the right hand side. The http in front of the web address in the ‘Address’ box on your web browser changes to https. Additionally, there will usually be a notice saying that you are moving to a secure part of the site. All of these things show you that you are now on the secure server and are safe to make a transaction. You will then type your credit/debit card information, proceed to the last step and click ‘Pay Securely’. Once you have done this the credit card details are encrypted using a Secure Socket Layer. Our Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and gives your credit/debit card details a double layer of encryption. This means your credit/debit card details are muddled up and subsequently cannot be read as they travel over the Internet. When the encrypted details reach a member of our Box Office web team, they will un-encrypt them using tailored software. They will then be able to see your credit/debit card details and payment will be taken for your tickets.

If you are not happy to use your credit/debit card details on the Internet then you may contact the Box Office and purchase tickets over the phone on: 0161 876 2000.
